If you are in a 4-year honours program, you may be required to undertake an independent research project during your last year. The goal of the research project is to develop research and analysis skills within an area of your choosing. To complete this project you will generally be responsible for finding and securing a faculty supervisor to oversee your project and in some cases become part of their research group. In this workshop, you will learn a bit more about what an honours thesis as a whole, what is expected in honours thesis research, and when and how to look for a supervisor.
