Net Night: Engineering, Computing & IT
Date: Wednesday, November 8, 2017
Time: 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Residence Commons Conference Rooms and Fenn Lounge (2nd Floor)
This event is designed exclusively for students within Carleton's renowned engineering, computer science, science, and IT programs to meet and network with employers from high-tech, computing, IT companies. We hope you'll join us for this two-part networking evening.
Part 1: Speed Networking, 5:30 to 7 p.m.
This is a sit down networking event. You will move through a series of stations in a casual “speed dating” format, each manned by one or two high tech industry professionals. You will spend approximately 15 minutes at each table and will have the opportunity to find out more information about career paths, interests, and advice from the professionals. Refreshments will be served.
Part 2: Net Night, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
This is a stand up and mingle networking reception. You will have the opportunity to network and chat with recruiters and professionals, make connections, learn more about companies in the industry, and discuss their upcoming employment opportunities. Light food and drink will be served.
We encourage you to bring networking/business cards with you!
If you are interested in attending both Net Night Part 1 and Part 2 you MUST register for each Part separately by visiting their individual event postings on the Co-op and Career Services event calendar in mySuccess. Register soon as space is limited!
