1:00PM to 3:00PM
SSSC (3431 Herzberg)

Are you thinking about going to graduate school? This workshop from 1:00PM to 1:30PM will provide you with a plan of action for meeting the requirements of entering graduate school. We will talk about grade requirements, prerequisite classes, the importance of research experience and an honours thesis, along with any exams required to enter specific graduate schools in science.

Also, get the chance to speak with Linnet Whiston from the Research Help Desk afterwards until 3:00PM about how they can best assist you in your studies!

At the Research Help Desk, students can ask for assistance with searching and accessing academic resources as well as non-academic sources such as business, law, government information, newspapers, book arts, patents, maps, images, and more. Library staff can also refer students to specialist help with Data, GIS, Knowledge Synthesis, and Qualitative Data Analysis.  They can also answer general questions about citation practices.
