Science Lab Tour Week runs from Monday, January 17th to Friday, January 21st. During this event students interested in research take part in virtual lab talks and learn more about current Carleton research. If you are interested in research positions, thesis positions, other research scholarships, and volunteer positions, this is an opportunity to learn more about what lab work is like and what makes you stand out as an aspiring researcher.
Although many labs are not able to currently take on students, Lab Tour Week gives you a chance to gather information and find out if, in the future, research will be a good fit for you and narrow down your interests
To register for the individual talks, please log onto Carleton Central and click on Science Student Success Centre under the mySuccess tab. In this tab please select "Sign Up for a Workshop, Activity or Event", then select the talk you are interested in. The individual Zoom links to the talks will be provided to all registered students closer to the event date. If you do not receive the Zoom link prior to the workshop, please visit the SSSC Online Resources Winter 2022 page on Brightspace, and in the section "This Week's Workshops and Events", select the event you are registered in.
