Carleton Pet Therapy - Visit with Roxy

1:30pm - 2:30pm
1:30pm - 2:30pm
SSSC (3431 Herzberg)

Stop by the SSSC between 1:30pm-2:30pm to meet Roxy: one of Carleton's therapy dogs! If you want to relax, unwind, de-stress, or pet a cute dog, Roxy can help! Here's a little bit more about her, straight from Roxy herself:

I am a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever who loves doing active tricks and I have limitless energy! I hope you will come and visit me at the Science Student Success Centre, where I will be visiting as a Therapy Dog on campus. I am so excited to meet as many students as possible – and maybe even throw a ball or two! My handler loves to take me outside on breaks too, so if you see us just make sure you ask to pet me.

Did you know that spending as little as 5-10 minutes with a Therapy Dog can lower your cortisol levels and increase oxytocin? That means we help to curb the stress response and elicit the relaxation response! Biology is so cool! Make sure you ask my handler all of the bio questions because he is the expert!
