What is the PCAT?
The PCAT is a 4 hour standardized, computerized, multiple choice test with five sections. It is not required for any pharmacy schools in Canada, however it may be required for schools elsewhere. The sections included in the PCAT are Verbal Ability, Biology, Chemistry, Reading Comprehension, and Quantitative Ability. The PCAT costs 210 CAD to write. PCAT results are valid for five years. How much does pharmacy school cost?
Generally, pharmacy school in Canada costs around 15,000 CAD per semester (approximately 18,000 CAD per semester at the University of Toronto). Financial support is sometimes available (see this link for more information).
