Have you been invited to apply for a DSRI (Dean's Summer Research Internship) and/or the BISRI (Black and Indigenous Summer Research Internship) this summer? Come to this workshop to learn all the ins and outs of the application process and have someone look over your DSRI application!
Register for this event through mySuccess (Access MySuccess through Carleton360) and click on Science Student Success Centre. This workshop will be offered in-person in 3431 Herzberg Laboratories. If you are unavailable at the workshop time, please contact the SSSC via email sssc [at] carleton.ca, and we can go over the workshop with you on an one-on-one basis.
Note: To have qualified for a Summer 2026 DSRI, students must meet the following criteria:
- 1st year standing (2nd year with transfer credits may be eligible)
- Earned at least 2.0 credits
- Have a CGPA of 11.0 or higher
Note: To be eligible for the Summer 2026 BISRI, students must meet the following criteria:
- Must be enrolled in Science at Carleton (full- or part-time)
- Earned at least 2.0 credits
- Have a CGPA of 8.0 or higher
- Self-identify as Indigenous and/or Black
