Don't just survive university. Crush it! Kick-Start into Science maximizes opportunities for students in the Faculty of Science to adapt to change, conquer challenges, build skills and gain knowledge that will help them throughout their university experience and beyond.
What is Kick-Start into Science?
Kick-Start is a series of workshop content available at the beggining of the fall semester. You can choose from three different themes:
Medical School Preparation and First-Year Science Accelerator are led by two highly successful upper-year students in the Faculty of Science who have made the most of their time at Carleton and who want to help other students do the same. The Entrepreneurship & Innovation stream is led by a Carleton Innovation Hub professional who will be introducing business background concept to students and helping them transforms their visions and ideas into tangible solutions. The Kick-Start Coordinators not only lead the weekly workshops but also mentor Kick-Start students one-on-one outside of the workshops.
