Make your transition to university as smooth as possible by participating in Summer Matchup, a program that pairs incoming first-year Faculty of Science students with highly successful upper-year students in the Faculty. Your SSSC Summer Matchup mentor will keep in touch with you throughout the summer and as you start your first year at Carleton to help you make the most of your university experience.

SSSC mentors have a wealth of knowledge about Carleton University and the Faculty of Science, and they are excited to share their information with you! They can give you tips about approaching course material, organizing your time effectively, getting involved on campus, and they can also connect you to other on-campus resources. Registration for Summer Matchup is currently closed

Registered students will be paired with upper year mentors starting Monday, July 11th, 2022. Please fill out the form below or follow the link at the bottom of the page to register. Please contact the SSSC if you have any questions.

Important Notice: We have received a lot of interest in Summer Matchup and at this time we have reached our capacity for available Computer Science mentors to match with incoming first year students. We still encourage incoming computer science students to register for Summer Matchup, however we are unable to guarantee that computer science students who registered after July 6th will be matched with a mentor. All computer science students who register after July 6th will be placed on a waiting list and will be matched with mentors if new any spots open up after July 11th. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes and thank you for your interest in the Summer Matchup program.
